Wildland Firefighter Foundation: Fundraiser for an Aviator Statue at the Wildland Firefighter Monument – Boise, Idaho

The Wildland Firefighter Foundation is excited to announce a fundraising endeavor to have an aviator statue commissioned and installed at the Wildland Firefighter Monument located at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC) in Boise.

We’re having a FUN fundraiser on Saturday, Oct 29, at 6 p.m. to kick off this effort. If you live in the area, please join us at the WFF (2049 Airport Way, Boise) for food, fun, raffles, silent auction, and costumes! Dress as your favorite super hero or aviator. Attached is a flyer for the event – please get the word out!

    It will be great to see the Wildland Firefighter Foundation’s monument when it’s installed. Any word on when that will be? I am planning a trip with my family to visit the Wildland Firefighter Monument when we’re next in Boise. I hope the fundraiser was a big success!
